No longer heavy in chains of fear or orphanhood

Through the VMTC ministry times and the schools, God has met me in the dark places of my soul and the wounds. 

He is gentle and He has helped me heal, walking with me step by step. I can feel a distinct difference in me, I'm no longer heavy in chains of fear, orphanhood, or oppressed by depression, shame and anxiety. God has brought me into freedom and awakened me to His love, light, life and truth. 

There have been some things where the healing and freedom has been obvious straight away and others where it's been a process. As I've had the opportunity to visit many people and places on a recent journey, I'm finding that I've indeed been set free from the lies and bondages that had held me. Bitterness, pain and resentment has turned to joy, gratitude and peace. I'm able to rest in knowing that I'm defined by who God says I am and not by the lies that once held me captive. 

I'm very grateful that God has brought me to the VMTC schools and ministry.
